Zeyni and her family have just lost support in our program.
Zeyni is a 31-year-old single mother raising 8 children on her own. Rahima Amana (girl, age 21) is not in school. Alima Amana (girl, age 19), Junadin (boy, age 17), and Nuradin (boy, age 15) are in 10th grade. Alamudin (boy, age 11) is in 5th grade. Kananisa (boy, age 7) is in 2nd grade. Makida (girl, age 6) is in kindergarten2. Obsa (boy, age 5) is not yet in school. Zeyni’s husband, Amana Diniko, died 5 years ago from heart failure. Since then, Zeyni has been trying to care for her children through farming. She has one ox and it cannot plough alone so she rents a second when available. Zeyni has a goiter on her neck and teeth issues. Junadin has heart problems like his father. Alima and Alamudin also suffer from illness. This family is in much need and your support will provide their basic necessity of nutritious, daily food. Zeyni is interested in raising and selling young bulls in order to support her family. Your help will give them hope for the future.
